I got the chance to live the cover girl experience on Saturday. It was all part of a CBC project on race for which I will be a contributor.
I arrived at the downtown offices of CloudRaker, an internet marketing firm, where the team was already busy photographing another contributor.
Debbie from the CBC greeted me warmly upon my arrival and introduced me to the rest of the team: Carl the photographer, Gérald the make-up artist, Sébastian the videographer, Jane a CBC intern, Étienne the director and his assistant Mai-Lan.

I sat in the make-up chair and Gérald performed a miracle on me with his brushes. Then it was my turn to sit on the bench under the lights and be photographed. Carl made me feel very comfortable as he directed me on how to pose. They even used a hair dryer on a cool setting for that wind blown hair look.
It was a great experience and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out. Gotta go now and work on my story.
Stay tuned for more details.
